Description of content: This standard applies to food additive acetic acid, glacial, a synthesis of Ethanol produced through fermentation. It specifies the technical requirements and test methods for food additive acetic acid, glacial.

If no, describe, whenever possible, how and why it deviates from the international standard: The different indexes of this standard are as follow: In this standard, glacial acetic acid occurs as clear and colourless liquid; Evaporation residue ≤ 0.005%; the ratio of brewing acetate ≤ 95%; heavy metals (Pb) ≤ 2mg/kg; arsenic (As) ≤ 1mg/kg; chroma/(once) ≤ 20; free mineral acid should be "Passes Test". The indexes for Tasty, acid test and acetate test are not set. This standard is consistent with the actual condition of Chinese products.
